Archie Repchuk is a British photographer currently based in East Sussex, focusing his work around environmental portraiture and documentary photography. He has recently graduated from a BA Hons of Photography at the University of the West of England, achieving a First. He has exhibited work within exhibitions in Brighton, Bristol and London.

Skills

- Photographic studio experience as an assistant and as the photographer for clients.
- Knowledgeable with setting up studio lighting and different desired lighting effects.
- Proficient with the adobe suite, specifically with Photoshop, Lightroom and InDesign.
- Widely experienced with DSLR’s, 35mm, 120mm and 4x5” large format film cameras.
- Experience processing all formats of b&w and colour film, as well as darkroom printing.
- Experienced in finalising images ready to print as well as Epson inkjet printing.
- Experience shooting moving image and recording audio, proficient with Premiere Pro.

- Exhibited within final UWE Degree show in the Arnolfini, Bristol.

Education

Studied photography, media studies & ICT at AS and A level, at Sussex Downs College.
Achieved a distinction grade, Level 3 Diploma in Photography at Brighton Metropolitan College.

Achieved a First Class Bachelors Degree with honours at the University of the West of England in Photography.

Transferable skills

Owns a full UK drivers license and car. Ample printing experience, book binding and hard cover wrapping experience. Used to working on both individually lead and team based projects in different contexts, such as gallery planning and working on collaborative moving image outcomes. Studio experience with models and undergone countless workshops in every area of photography and image making.
